How to activate your account for production mode

To move from test mode to production mode and start processing real payments, you need to activate your account by completing the compliance process.

Steps to activate your account

  1. Log into your Dashboard

  2. Look for the blue "Activate your account" button located in the bottom left margin of the Dashboard

  3. Click on this button to access the compliance form

  4. Complete all required information in the compliance form

  5. Submit the form


What happens after submission

After you submit your compliance form, our Compliance team will review your application. You can expect to receive a response within 72 business hours.

If approved: Your account is activated for production mode. Rebill will enable at least one payment method in one of your requested countries before activating your account.

If rejected: You'll receive an email. Common rejection reasons include missing legal pages on your website, inactive site, or incomplete documentation.

What changes when you move to production

Your account is ready to process real payments:

  • All test data remains in your test environment

  • You need to configure everything from scratch in production: products, plans, payment links, webhooks, and more

API keys are different:

  • Your production API keys are different from your test API keys

  • Update your integrations to use your production Secret API key

  • Test API keys will not work in production mode

Payment methods are activated: Rebill enables payment methods in your requested countries during the activation process. You will not be able to operate in production without at least one active payment method.
