How to configure payment methods for a Payment Link
Last updated: February 8, 2026
By default, Payment Links accept both cards and bank transfers. You can choose which methods to offer for each currency.
Configure payment methods
Go to Payment Links
Click Create Payment Link (or edit an existing one)
Scroll to Payment methods
Click on the country you want to configure
Select which methods to enable:
Card — Credit and debit cards
Transfer — Bank transfers (method varies by country)
Save
Changes apply immediately to the link.
Why limit payment methods?
Offer only cards:
You don't want subscriptions paid via bank transfers (bank transfers require manual intervention from customer on every recurrent payment)
Your product requires instant confirmation (cards confirm immediately, transfers may not be confirmed instantly in some cases)
Offer only bank transfers:
You don't accept card payments
You want to avoid card processing fees
You handle cards through another provider
Offer both:
Maximize conversion by giving customers more options
Let customers choose based on their preference
What customers see
If you enable both methods, customers see:
Card payment form
Bank transfer option below
If you enable only one method, customers see only that option. The checkout skips the payment method selection step.
Can you set different methods for different currencies?
Yes. Payment methods are configured per country/currency.
Example:
Colombia: Card + Transfer enabled
Mexico: Only Card enabled
Argentina: Only Card enabled
Each country can have its own configuration.
